In May 2002, Pastor and Sister Evensen began to feel the leading of the Lord once again to pioneer a new church, but this time in the Metro New Jersey Area. Pastor and Sister Evensen previously worked in Missions work in Southwest Oklahoma, among the Kiowa Indians and in Upstate New York. God began to open doors in the Secaucus area and we started holding services in 2002. In 2007 the NJUPC had an offer to share the property we now reside in on 51 Centre Ave in Secaucus. In 2022 we purchased the property and are making continued improvments to it. |

Through the friendship and aid of Pastor Robert Carter the North Jersey United Pentecostal Church began holding its first services in August 2002 at the Holiday Inn in Secaucus New Jersey. The church was a successful start up and in May 2003 was incorporated under the laws of the State of New Jersey and became a formal 501(c3) non-profit organization recognized by the federal government. |
